First CARS Tour top-10 finish for Brandon Lopez at Tri-County
Bryson Lopez Racing had a successful outing in the Pro Late Model portion of the zMAX CARS Tour SoundGear 225 at Tri-County Speedway, as driver Brandon Lopez grabbed his best series result in Saturday's 100-lap, $5,000-to-win race.
To open the evening, Lopez clocked a best lap of 15.197 seconds on the 4/10-mile track in Hudson, North Carolina, qualifying his No. 6 Terminal Maintenance & Construction Chevrolet SS 14th in the 16-car field.
Lopez persevered and avoided attrition throughout the long and challenging race as he moved forward four spots to score a solid 10th-place finish.
