From Dirt to South Alabama

NORCROSS, Ga. (March 6 ,2025) —Dirt Late Model star Garrett Smith will make his asphalt debut for Bryson Lopez Racing at the 2025 Baby Rattler in the No. 10 Cadillac Ranch Pro Late Model.

Smith, a former Dirt Track World Champion at Portsmouth Raceway Park, will trade in the treads for slicks on March 14th to make his first start in an asphalt stock car at the crown-jewel event. Joining his teammate, Brandon Lopez, the BLR duo will compete for 125 laps at South Alabama Speedway in Opp, Alabama, on the 4/10-mile surface.

Joining Garrett in his Pro Late Model efforts include Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction, Inc., Cadillac Ranch, Slicker Graphics, SRI Performance, Dirtcarlift, Schaeffer's Oil, JM Custom Laser, shopgarrettsmith.com and Hoosier Racing Tire.

Event coverage will take place on Racing America with qualifying at 3:30pm CT and racing at 7:00pm CT.
