Lopez brothers score top-10 results in Cordele Super Fest kickoff
Brothers Brandon and Zach Lopez returned to the track over the weekend for the first Super Fest Series event of the season at the 3/8-mile Cordele (Georgia) Motor Speedway. The Bryson Lopez Racing duo competed across two divisions, with Brandon in the Super Late Model class and Zach piloting a Pro Truck.
On Saturday, Zach claimed pole position in his Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction-backed No. 18 Chevrolet before rain pushed the remainder of the event to the next day.
Sunday saw Brandon qualify eighth out of 17 Super Late Model entries in his No. 6 LeeBoy Chevrolet SS. He went on to finish 10th in the 125-lap, $10,000-to-win main event.
In the Pro Truck class, Zach came home fourth in the $1,200-to-win feature.
